floro vs HPS

i have one floro on a single. i am planning to put on a couple more to the sides and one more on top as it gets bigger. is this good enough for nice growth or should i get a HPS.

Howdy,

What kind of floros are ya using/going to use ? I think it will be sufficient for minimal growth and performance,but more light,is always better. I think it would be best to git the floros,put on the sides,they will provide supplemental lighting,an hps would be the best to put on top,with the floros on the sides.

I used to have a set-up,with 2 ,4ft floro shop-lights,and 2 hps lights,in the middle,between the floros,as well as floros on the sides..I got pretty dang good results from that particular set-up.

Flouros are great to start seedlings and root clones, but you would be better off investing in one 250 watt High Pressure Sodium lamp.Your buds would be much bigger and more dense.Purchasing one lamp would be highly beneficial. _ Jarhead
