    Harvesting:rootball or no rootball ?

THC in the root ball my ass. Here's the order of THC potentcy per plant section.

    Main Cola
    Buds
    Upper Leaves

The stem branches and rootball contain almost no THC or CBN or CBD or CBDN or Delta 8 or any of that shit. That's a fact jack. Ask zandor he's a machine.

Howdy Y'all, I'm curious, have any of y'all heard whether or not,it's a good idea to retain the rootball at harvest time ? My friend says that he always keeps the rootball on,with a plastic bag, wired tightly around the stem base, when he firsts starts drying them, hung upside down..he claims that the rootball has some thc in it,that must be allowed to drain down into the buds. He asked me how plants are harvested inside, and I told him, that we usually just cut the plant at the base, and Rating: 5

The reason they say hang the plants up side down,is logical after all did you ever try to hang them standing up lol...

While there is no THC in the roots and very little on the stem surface, hanging the plant upside down WITH a rootball attached for a couple of days isn't ALL bad.....

What it does do however is allow the foilage to extract all the sugars it can from the entire plant system.

The sugars can then be used by the plant for various processes which may come in handy during the curing process....ie...smoother smoke, lower combustion levels and perhaps a slightly more dank smell.

However, once the plant is dead, its dead and little if any transfer of biochemicals will take place.

So hanging by the rootball is certainly reasonable...but only for a couple of days.

WHORE will be cured this way as her roots are extremely thick and do hold a lot of sugars that will transfer.

Some plants its just useless to do but out of tradition many people just do it that way on every tree they pull.
