Cheap inaccurate scales being used in dispensaries
I find this hard to believe but I just came from a dispensary that's using a cheap flat 3 inch square digital scale. This resulted in "grams" that were incredibly small and short on weight. I recognized the "not for commercial use" scale from a large national tools company. I shall never go back to those crooks...but where to report this fraud?

I've seen an inspector at the farmers market checking all the scales, not sure what agency it is or if they can go to the Center's or not.

Not positive but I would think the Office of Weights & Measures
State of Colorado - Office of Economic Development and International Trade
Agriculture-Colorado:Weights & Measures

Weights and measures are the ones to talk to. They not only certify scales for resale but do gas pumps, etc.

Definitely W&M, all scales in MMC's should be NTEP certified. We use a double sided scale so you can see as we weigh, up to the thousandth of a gram.

I've gotten sacks that ranged from a .5 gram short to 1.70 short, from Highland Health, Kushism and CAM. I let them know and they basically told me I was making it up and was trying to scam them. To say the least i'll never go back!!
I got a shorted about .60 of a gram for the Releaf center about a year ago, BUT I never brought it to their attention because I was balls deep in finals for fall semester and it just passed my mind as time passed!! and i've been back because the Releaf guys are knowledgeable and sincere, also it seemed to be an honest mistake!
