you can buy 2x 1 ft purple spectrum flor's at thc.ie for 40 euro, their good for seedlings, blue/white for veg and red for flowering, you'd be aswell off to buy the cfl's man their only 40 euro each and one of them should do you for a good few plants, they don't need a ballast there's pretty much no heat off them either so you can have them very close to the plant

Alright irishbud
Just to let you know i think them cool white are only 2400k so they would be better for flowering. If you look out for 2 foot daylight 6400k flor's there great for veg and it would only be a matter of changing your tube's and can keep your cool white tube's for back up lighting in flowering. You can get the daylight's in Woodies and B & Q:thumbsup:

well irishbud
I have one of them 125 watt blue cfl's that kingbud2010 is talking about and i think there great and the fella in the grow shop said it puts out enough light to do 2 plants put i have mine over 1. The only thing is there 40 / 45 euro each.
You should go have a look in your local grow shop they will tell all about om
p.s. i wouldnt use it for flowering
