    :: Water Vs T.P :::

    I have read most of the guides, and personaly have gone with the toilet paper between 2 plates method.

    However some people say to put them in a glass of water for a day or so...

    What do you all think is more succesfull?

    And when putting them in a glass of water, why do they not drown?

    they DO drown, putting it in the water for 12-24 hours softens the shell of the seed. you should plant the seed after 24 hours, or.. it will rot.

    They are both virtualy equaly succesful, it just depends on your seeds and you. Paper towel has less dead seed risk, but is harder to tell when it is ready and is hard to take out individual seeds. But water you can saturate and kill seeds easier but it is easier to take them out one at a time. So there are advantages and disadvantages for both, but if done correctly they give very similar results.
