    :wtf:

    Uhhh....

I think she meant 18/6 hours of light/dark, not 18/24 which would be 18 hours of light followed by 24 hours of dark.

When the plants hit their second set of true leaves you can move the light closer to them. After that point more light = more growth.

There is lots of books in a link in my sig. I recommend reading as much as possible as soon as possible, it's well worth it.

If your plant has sprouted and you see green - get the lights closer. If it's a CFL 2 -3 inch is as far away as you want to be. Any further and it'll stretch - and yes, get the fan on it now for air movement and to strengthern the stems.

Your soil should already be fluffy and aireated, so shouldnt need any holes poked in for that. BUT make sure you have good drainage holes.

BUT, unless you get reading everything you can read, and quickly, they'll probably die. You cannot grow weed and THEN ask questions.

...I would recommend not giving the seedling any light at all until after it pops its head out of the soil first. Then add one 27w/100w light 2 or 3 inches away. Then increasing the amount of bulbs after it starts getting more nodes/leaves.
