i started a nice number of plants indoor and i need to know when they are ready for the outside...like 6 inches or more...what would be the best

when transplanting make sure the soil is moist so it clumps together, i suggest watering a day before transplant. when you transplant you can bury the stem up to the bottom leaves to creater feeder roots.

transplant into the outdoors after soil temps remain above 50f. size of plant doesn't matter as much. if planting seedlings, use a barrier method to keep insects and critters off of em...like an alumimum can with both ends cut off and centered over plant then stuffed into the ground a bit.
