Question about trimming the underside - help needed!
Hi all!
Im growing some Critical mass from Mr nice and LA woman and Sleestack x skunk fem
Im currently in day 22 of 12/12 and i was wondering if im too late to trim the underside of the plant?
First of all its a pain in the ass to water them cus of all the bushiness below, second of all, nothing grows under there anyways..
but i dont want to trim ANYTHING if it could lead to stress/hermies! just dont want to risk it!
they are looking GREAT and i think i see 4-5 DONKEY-dicks-to-be on the critical mass'
Buds are forming and leaves within the buds are turning crystal white!
(some info: 600W HPS. Growing in 10L pots coco, connesiur A+B - Sensizym - PK13/14 - BigBud (yes im doing both, they seem to like it very much!) )
(btw have gotten some Q's bout pics; will add photos of them when its all done, never liked having pics of the plant while doing this :wtf: )jebus89 Reviewed by jebus89 on . If you don't want to create any stress then leave them be and just harvest in partials if you're worried about flower development. If you trim now, you will lose a good weeks worth of flowering and you may create other problems. If they are growing fine as they are, then I would suggest leaving them be. If you have any leaves that look to be dieing around the bottom then cut those. That way the plant is not continuously trying to repair the damage.

Well not sure on plant size here, but the lower is where I get my clone material from. I also believe (indoors) that undergrowth that does not get enough light can stress and grow nanners. Regardless the way bottom crap will not provide good medicine, so I usually trim before the flower room. I have not seen this induce stress enough to cause nanners, in fact, I think it makes the top part much stronger and grow healthier.
MIND YOU THIS IS INDOORS in a crowded grow area.
