topping/fiming problem

So i new to this and was looking around and found a tutorial on how to do this. It was going great till someone called me right when i was clipping my last plant and i cut right down to the stem. Then it kinda brought up the dark colored stuff which i guess was to help protect the cut??? Anyways i was wondering if anyone new what to expect cause its still growing and its been almost 2 days. i can see the splitting in my others but not in that one.

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying...

if you were LSTing / bending your tops, etc, and you managed to almost break the stem, don't worry. Chances are it will heal on it's own. You can prop it up a bit if it went over too far, but then just leave it alone and it a week or so it will have developed new tissue and be stronger than before.
