some of you guy(s) really need to wisen up...RIPAC, NORML, MMP and others are organizations dedicated to MMJ. If you don't like it, don't join..... I am not a member but if someday I decide to I would not put my foot in my mouth before I actually gave it a chance. Some people think that their MMJ card seperates them from the rest of the marijuana enthusiasts and gives them entitlement to free marijuana???? Where did this view come from? Certainly not from the many states with legal dispensaries and collectives, they actually charge...some upwards of 65 an 8th...and can you believe patients actually go there to buy their medicine. I feel that before anyone bitches or gripes about Organizations, Caregivers or dispensaries they should try growing a few successful crops themselves and fully understand what love, care and time goes into growing the sacred herb.

I am not going to continualy feed into threads that are nonsense like this one but it was annoying to see those who have no idea what the hell they are talking about. If one opens their ears and closes their mouths they may hear the answer they seek...

$50 an ounce???? I assuming you've grown indoors before, right? The amount of time spent on caring for the plant, quality seeds and decent equipement make this figure damn near impossible! Now, an outdoor crop maybe but growing 12 to 24 plants in a perpetual system is a part to full time job.

You don't work for free do you? To do it right with an indoor grow is not easy. Granted it's a weed, but we are cultivating that "weed" to maximum potency which takes a lot of trial and error which cost $$$$$. Personally, I believe that MM should be paid for on a sliding scale to make it cost effective compared to how much a patient takes home$$$. The most it shoud ever be is 200 for the very best!!! And, of course, it should still be dependant upon your income and should come down in price every year until it levels out a price more reasonable 100 to 150.

As far as RIPAC is concerned, just like all businesses, the opportunity for abuse is common so I wouldn't be surprised. Ironically, all non-profits need income, that is a fact of life. Considering it is illegal on the federal level, good luck getting a federal grant...lol.

It is still illegal boys and gilrs, therefore, still a risk. Do you know any free lawyers if you get busted by the DEA or feds??? Again, doubt it.

It is a business Einstien!!!! Run it like one, anticipate future costs, add current cost, plan for future expasion and use that figure to determine your selling price.

Granted, most CG's have not even thought of this formula so I'm not saying you are an idiot! It's that you can't just slap a happy go lucky price on a product. Personally, I forsee the price going down to 50 an oz. in many years. The only way that is going to happen is by going NP first so you can control the market rate. RI actually has the best formula so far so we won't fall under the Cali. guidlines...65 an 1/8 is NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes the system is frustraiting, it's called growing pains! So, for now, it is what it is. Unless your willing to grow top quality med's and sell them for 50 an oz only then all the power to ya! I could use another CG at those prices...lol

Now WAKE up! Until the STATE subsidizes MMJ to legal patients as a fundamental right to good health under the contitution then we may see that dramitic shift in cost. I am not arguing there arent caregivers giving ounces to their patients for 50 bucks and ounce....wonder how many ounce those 5 patients really take (..and where does the rest go?) and how do you pay you electric, water, rent/lease, nutrient, medium, and any other costs you may incure during the crop. What happens if you have health issues with your plants and they aren't top notch...do you just pass it on because its inferior but hey it's only 50 an ounce...sounds like some 80's mexicani sh*t to me.

Guys that post about prices like that are dreamers who in reality have a 250 hps and a calculater dreaming of what they could harvest if they had "this" or "that". Obviously you have never grown on a large scale or you wouldn't even say the things you do. Instead of being the cool "grower" throw it aside and learn from others. i have noticed a lot of fake help out there which includes the following
method:
jake gives tony 5 cuttings not even rooted 2 weeks till they root roughly.
than to bring to suffient height to flower through a veg period will be 2.5 months
roughly 3 months time
ok, so jake has not thelped you at all, but rather added you to his roster of people trusting him and buying an ounce every other week for 300, 2 a month
so 2 * 3 = 6 * 300 = 1800
so who helped who ??????
