Caregiver's Cup?

There was a write up I think on westword's blog about a Caregiver's Cup event this weekend. It said patients would be voting/judging, but then also said there would be no medicating. Anyone know what this thing is like, and if it's worth going to?

Haven't heard about it, but what the hell is the point of having a cup where everyone cant toke down?

To me the no on-premises rule is a big problem out here. Dispensaries could get so much more business if you could make it into a destination instead of just a store for reefer. Hang out, chill, be social. Meet new people.

That's why the cali scene is awesome. Besides the fact they get WAY better herb.

I spent 3 months in Cali this summer and sampled shit all over LA. Most of it was warehouse commersh. The LA peeps I met didn't know shit about herb and loved their half-dank commersh. I'm sick of hearing this bullshit about Cali weed. There's good growers everywhere.
It's pretty much all about who you know anyway because the best shit ain't in dispensaries in either state!

I've never met the guy, only been a patient for a year, and everyone with any credibility in this industry puts TimTipton on the same level as satan, romer, and that bitch on the denver city council.

Timmy T is a complete jerk, rip-off artist, and crook. The Cup is run by him and I've never wished harm to anyone in the MMJ realm before but I sincerely hope it gets shut-down. He has screwed so many people over. I almost got screwed over myself but luckily my spidey senses (that's spider man not mite senses - Ha!) warned me. There is a thread on another forum that goes more into detail, but we could start one here too. Hopefully he'll take his grifting @ss somewhere else or get out of the MMJ biz or get what's coming to him.
