Hello and welcome phirewire,

Vaporizing is much more healthier for you then smoking. I provide meds to cancer patients and the only method that is permitted by this cancer group is vaperizing. Same holds true for the hospice care group that I work with, tho I can usually convince the doctors or PAs to allow a patient to smoke a pre-rolled jay, if there is no tobacco filler used.

As to becoming addicted to mj use....yes it occurs, to a mild degree. If it gives you relief from pain, then stopping it's use brings back the pain. If it calms your nerves, then stopping it will cause you to feel aggitated. I've seen many cancer patients who vaped, heavily, while under going treatments (chemo or radiation) and when that stopped they stopped with no problems. For people who are healthy and using, stopping may cause you to want it but that passes in day or two...with very little trauma.

When I was younger, I would smoke every day for a year or so, then go for a year or two without. Maybe a dissappointment to go without but easy to cope with.
For the last 25 years, I've mostly vaped but enjoy a joint before bed most nights. I'd like to think I could stop at any time but see no reason to try.
