CLFs put out less lumens than t5s(per watt i think), i'v used them for mother plants when i wanted to keep them alive but not grow as much as t5s. Really it was not that big of a difference.:rasta:
Do you already have nutrients for them? Feel free to ask me more, i know a good bit about growing some ganja. And nothing better to do than help people.

Ok... here we go.... If you are using a grow tent I HIGHLY suggest a 4x4 T5 (4 foot by 4bulb)
Ask your local Hydro store to "swap" the bulbs for you. If you are just starting the grow do a 3Blue 1 Red mix and later on you CAN bloom them with the T5 (IDGAF what some people will say about Fluro "its only for veg , you cant use them for bloom its to weak only use HPS" blah blah blah).
Use a Nute program thats H-M-L (High in N=Nitrogen, Medium in P=Phosphate, Low in K=Potassium) for Veg.
Indica's Veg usually for 4-5 weeks, Sativa's are usually 2-4 weeks and Hybrids vary.
I'll say this again, be VERY clean with your workspace. Especially with cloning. NEVER contaminate you cloning solution whether its liquid, gel, or w/e.
Clean your tools please, that includes your cloning razor(s),clips, Pruning scissors, table/cutting board, and I HIGHLY suggest you only use Purified water then freeze it (26 degree's) and then slightly let it de-thaw for the cuttings while you are prepping them for cloning. I use a water bottle with the top cut off and that method, I only use the bottle 1 time and recycle it.
Keep the target Temp around 76-78 degrees to confirm Females and if at all possible keep a 18(on)-6(off) Lighting schedule.
Use a mix of Silica and Milk in Purified water as a foliage spray (turn to fine mist) and apply daily. OG's dont get very thirsty and handle Root stretching very well. This is a method where you don't actively wet the cent of the Pot. But rather the outskirts and VERY little water in the middle. Always make sure to use 1/2 of w/e the Nutes say . EX: 2tbs per gal (use 1tbs per gal or on heavy feeding 1.5)
I only Water my OG 2X a week, and she is a AAA pheno that's about 3.8 Feet tall and very healthy. She gives me like 5 clones a week so I'm happy with her I have 59+ other strains that keep me occupied so she doesn't get clones a lot.
I only use Organic everything but to each his own, so as far as soil Use what you think works best. As far a pot, once again, use what you thinks best but word of advice. Buckets or round pots cause root bounding eventually and this can potentially choke the plant...
Not every strain needs a huge rooting space too. OG really only needs a 3gal , use a 5gal for the mother or bigger.
Think that about covers it... Use Neem oil (Einsteins is the best but little pricey) for Mites and Minor molds like Black mold and Powder mold.
Make sure to keep the Bud room well vented and if you are using a fan CLEAN IT! bi-weekly to prevent bad Hygiene.
Other than that I think I just about covered everything...
If you need help with anything else or need tips lemme know...
Hope I helped
One Love...
