I posted this in another forum earlier . . . "Well I canâ??t say enough about how excited i am about the current goings on, and I canâ??t wait to delve into this feet first. A little about me, Iâ??m a long time marijuana user, both recreational, and of course more importantly medically. I was in a nasty car accident when i was younger, and I use it for pain management as I really canâ??t stand most prescription pain killers. And I have also replaced prescription sleep aids with good olâ?? purple sticky punch. Although Iâ??m sure it will be some time before Iâ??m able to obtain an Arizona MMC, I am beside myself, that folks in my home state with serious and debilitating diseases, will now get to legally reap the benefits of this miracle plant.
And thats where I come in. Nothing would make me happier, than to make sure that Arizona patients are getting the highest quality medicine possible. Not only do I want to grow myself, but I would like to sorta be a voice of Arizona growers, encourage proper, moral, safe and healthy growing practices. I really donâ??t want to see what I have seen and heard of in other states.
I do have a background in marijuana horticulture, I wont say more than that at the moment, and I have learned a lot from the other 14 legal states. Iâ??m here to network with, teach and learn from others interesting in growing, as well as those future dispensary owners out there. As it sounds they may one in the same but I doubt it will stay that way for long. As state, county, and city officials take the next 4 months to hash out the details(no pun intended), we need to take this opportunity to grow and strengthen our community. Well Iâ??ve rambled on long enough. Hope to hear from some of you real soon."

Check out the Phoenix NORML gathering this Wednesday (check their website). Should be a great opportunity to network and get all the correct up-to-date information on cultivation and becoming a care-giver.

It is important to read and know the new Arizona MM Law. People interested in growing. The rules are you must be 25 miles from a dispensary to grow for yourself. The plan is to have these dispensary's equally spread across the state. That will eliminate 99% of people growing their own.
The good news is these rules are not in stone yet. The ADHS is doing the initial informal draft of rules 12-17-10 They are asking for public comment on these rules 12-17 to 1-7-11
If you are interested to grow your own then you must be proactive and get as many people interested to also do so.

Do you have some way of clarifying your statement. You just claimed to be one of the first, when in fact that has been happening since the prop turned. And clarify exactly what you were approved for and by whom. Did the city give you a business license? Do you have your IRS paper work? Are you an LLC which will be DBA north valley herbal health?

I ask these because we have investors looking for partners, in the 50K range , to sit on a board of directors for a dispensary.
