    When to start fertilizing

I am a new grower but i have read on growing for months now. I was wondering, for you expierenced ones, when i should start fertlizing. I dont want to kill it but i want to make sure that it grows healthy.

Also what brand have some of you had success with...and how much..i was thinking half the dose.

    thanks

    When to start fertilizing

    Daddy,

I think its a good question and I wish I could have definitive answers for you, but I too am a newbie.

I can tell you NOT to fertilize too early.

I burned my first crop and I used it at 1/4 the strength.

From the massive reading I do, I have learned the two little seed pods that sprout, feed the plant during the earliest stages of growth.

So as long as they are green and plump, don't fertilize no matter the strain.

Once gone and yellow and shriveled, it really depends on the soil medium used, its nutrient content and so forth.

I have read of many many people having good results with the Home Depot fish emulsion...5-1-1

I have read also that you need to fulsh really really well or the taste is not so hot with this fert, but I have read it is really good.

Here is a good link to reading about nutes for weed...

Me, I intend to experiment with cat shit.

Really. I have seen for years the cat shit in the grass and the pile of grass grows 5 times higher and greener than all theother grass around it for a few weeks.

I have long fed my house plants cat shit from the litter box and they all thrive.

I also ordered bat guano, which i guess is bat shit. I have read people do good with that too.

I want to smoke weed that is all organic.

Of course I ifs chemical or nothing, i'll smoke the chemicals too.

Good luck and let me know if you get anything definitive as well.

    Thanks
