    Help Needed People

Just finished building my new grow box.
Its 6foot high, 4foot long and 2foot wide its nice and big.
I have 2 questions, first on lighting and second on air flow.

1, everything i read tells me different lights to use. and my head is fucking wrecked now... i am thinking one 600 watt High Pressure Sodium hanging from the roof and two Fluorescent Lights one on the back wall and second on the front wall near the door????

2, i will be using a very good air out take fan in the grow box so i am thinking do i need a air intake fan or can i just cut out air grids at the bottom of the box????

    Really need you feedback thanks

But the High pressure sodium bulbs emits an orange-red glow. This band of light triggers hormones in cannabis plants to increase flowering/budding in cannabis plants!!!!!

I think you are on the right track here;at first I thought I was going to need to come up with an active intake, but I started with a passive set up - 4" - at the bottom of my tent and now I have all the negative pressure I can stand. I have a 600W in a 4X4X8 tent / 170cfm fan/filter and I get plenty of airflow. Also get a small, clip-type desk fan to circulate air inside your space. It can be a little trial and error, but once you get that first nice harvest you can be proud!!

Not at all, I use 12 - 4' T8s 6500K as side lighting in Bloom, 6 on the left and 6 on the right. They can boost the crop quite a bit at a very low cost with almost no heat, matter of fact the plants grow into and touch them all the way up by the end of Bloom...

Side Note: T5's are to hot for the plants to touch, so on side lighting you must cage them to keep the plants away form the bulbs. The reason I use T8s instead and there a lot cheaper, more available...

On top I'm running a 400w HPS on a light mover, low and slow in my motto...

Here's what I have in the over now...

    Edited to add: My Bloom Room is 3' x 6' x 8'

Air Flow is as important as water & Light, especially in a Grow Box...

Here's my set up from the front and the door closed...

Two 6" in-line duct fans ( Home DePot $25 ) on the top blowing out and two in-takes at the bottom...

Left top draws hot air from the top of the grow space...

Right Top draws thru the light just above the canopy...

Bloom Room Air is exchanging at 5 times per minute thru out the 12 hour light cycle...

Fan on the right moves up with the light, blowing across the canopy...

Second photo is with the door open and you can see the internal workings...

Third photo is of the other half of the Canopy I could not get in the first photo...

Hope this gives ya some ideas...
