I HAVE A CLOSET?
High All, I have a closet its about 2-3' deep, 5' wide, 8' tall! for reasons that I wont get into I cant cut holes in ceilings or walls or etcetera! my question is, is there a way to grow some really good product in this givin space? I've vegged with great success in this closet under t-5's! but don't think the t-5's will bud successfully and have no way of venting hid, hps lighting.
I have about $300 and am thinking I would like to use this space to flower also, but heat is going to be an issue. I've looked into the led stuff and am thinking of going with either 2 grow panel 45's from searshttp://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_01299273000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&block Type=G1 or 1 120 watt tri-band led from htg supplyhttp://www.alibaba.com/product-free/106394685/NEW_120_watt_LED_GROW_LIGHT.html along with 4 of my 4' t-5's.
Do you all think that either 1 of these combanations would give any real product (just personal use no high yields would be expected) any thoughts?thanks

sorta...can you make the room dark and leave the closet door open?...that's what I do, using two 400 watt HID lights and a simple fan...in the bedroom; which is dark, air conditioned and off limits...I cant cut holes in ceilings or walls or etcetera! my question is, is there a way to grow some really good product in this givin space?
actually, have two bedrooms like that...

Pretty much the same dimensions of yours. 150w hps didn't put off much heat - you could definitely get by with 250w hps (as long as you have a small fan in there, moving the heat out/away from plant(s))
Side lighting is important too! :stoned:

Thank you dougal, this is the way I went. 250 hps, 10" fan and 2 4' t-5's! the heat from the 250 as you stated should be fine in that small a space! (hoping)? thought about a 400 but money and heat remained an issue, I just thought the 400 would give more heat issues!

How big is your room? i have 14 cfl's going three 4ft fluro tubes and a 250w hps. With my A/c off my room gets hot as fuck easily 90+. But my room is small only like 12 by 12 ft maybe. If your room is small like mine or you dont have good air flow through your room/house you might need to invest in a A/c they make the colors come out in your plants anyways!
