yeah, and plus I just like learning, doubt I will ever stop furthering my Education. I firmly believe in the concept of Forward is the only direction to go, so I do my best to move as far forward as possible while leaving the largest possible impact on my surroundings on the way forward. (this is why sometimes I will mention being "Progressive", it isn't a reference to a ideology of Politricks)

I'm an autodidact by nature. I stopped learning from public school at a young age, by 8th grade I was done with school, formally withdrew at 18 after many years of floating through the school system getting grades for not attending any classes. Never stopped teaching myself, eventually I got a GED, and a degree and take courses from time to time after I found out there are many College Professors worthy of my respect that I can learn from despite our ideological differences.

What I'm going to do now isn't going to be the end of it, got plans on attending another University within the next 5 years(WPU). Couple of the Professor's in the one program there have some pretty good published papers that caught my eye, and were even posted on another website I am rather involved with.

Actually the Sculptor I mentioned earlier Ming Fay, is a Prof in the Fine arts department there. (not the department I am interested in, just so happens many of the Professors at the college are friends of mine and are rather prominent in their respective field and we travel in the same circles)

Thanks for your well wishes brother, I'm actually really excited about this next step!

Congratulations on this big step Red! I did the same thing about a year ago and am amazed how much fun I am having. Not to mention that the vacation time and work environment are so much better in academia, why would anyone want to work? Rep+ heading your way!

Wanted to dig the thread back up and mention how great Gypski's pipes are. I got the silver shield last week and its been at my side since then. The pictures don't do it justice, this is a well-crafted piece of art. If youre thinking about getting one, I can tell you its worth it.

Many thanks again Gypski! Youve done a helluva job with this one

Well Gypski, my bat arrived yesterday and I was able to try it out last night. The smoke was smoother and cooler then any bat Ive ever used. Ive had everything from aluminum, brass, glass, and stainless and this by far beats them all. It fit neatly into my dugout with only a minor spring adjustment. You sir are a fine craftsman and I hope you business prospers with this pieces.

If you guys have the money, I suggest you purchase one of these. They are truly one of a kind.

Your comment humbles me. People don't realize how I kinda sweat it out while I wait for it to arrive and its actually seen. So far a hat trick and again to those I've satisfied, a big Thank You!

I gifted two pipes to my friends who are giving me shelter from the storm. I didn't photograph the other but it had a Peace Symbol in the center. And, strangely, I knew what each would pick when offered to chose! :lol5:
