Well gypski I gotta tell ya, I have been interested in your pipes from the beginning and always check out this thread, but I have kept relatively quiet about it because at the moment I just got hired on permanently at this killer job and up until now I've had to be careful financially.

Well, I'll make sure I stay alive so I can make you happy. Its a new year, memories, bullshit gets a person moody. If you don't shake the tree, ya can't get no fruit as far as the pipes go!!! :lol5:

I might also mention that I've had an inquiry for them wholesale, but I told them the price on the page is the same for everyone. I'm thinking to taking some around to the local shops, but they aren't cheap or fast to make. They take time to make and time is money, and at the price I'm doing them for I'm making about $10.00 an hour. I can only make so much extra s month or they will fuck me on disability. So, I'm not making a killing in any way. A person could probably blow a hell of a lot more glass in four hours then my one pipe on average. I cut them out with a hack saw and grit blades, then drill them, then shape them, then inlay them, they set over night, then sand them several times, photograph them, clean up things, and finish them. So, they aren't made by slave labor in China, India or where ever else.

I'm thinking about making one in the shape of a .45 1911 A1 with gold or silver detials so I can blow my fucking brains out every now and again!!!! And don't think I couldn't do it. I was a gunsmith in the Marines. :S2: :thumbsup:

Anyone who has read this thread knows I love my pipe. Not only is it high quality, 40 dollars for a handmade pipestone pipe is a great bargain. Look around on the net a bit and y'all will see what I mean.

Plus, I want to emphasize this. I am a pipe guy. Always have been. I've smoked just about any kind of pipe made out of any kind of material you can imagine. I joke about how the toke is much smoother than my metal pipe, but let me say that I have never had a 3" pipe deliver such a cool smooth toke without appearing to heat up at all. Sure there are bigger and more elaborate pipes that can deliver tokes as cool or cooler, but for a covert piece, this pipe is clearly the best I've ever used.

And I'm not even getting paid to say that or anything. :S2:

Maybe I'll look at it as the way we perceive our culture anymore. If it isn't cheap, made quick, and won't last a lifetime, we buy it. If its something that will last a lifetime but cost a little extra or even a bargain, we pass it up for breakable bullshit. Its cultural thing, our culture doesn't appreciate art or crafts or anything that an individual can make. But at one time, that was how our society lived. I'm old school before the Reagan Revolution that fucked this country totally up and everybody turned to buy junk.

!!! Don't give up Gypski! I am going to eventually get one from you too. I have been spending so much getting this grow room going though, its time to sit back now and wait for the scholarship and financial aid money to start flowing again. I suspect that there are many of us who want a quality collector's piece made by a friend.

Let me just add that there are a few external circumstances that have effected my mood the past couple of days, and for a while for that matter. People are always trying to pull some kind of bullshit and renege on agreements. And that has put me through some changes. I've made up my mind, And if I get any more static from that direction, I'm going to fucking war, and I will win. I apologize for raking the thread with my rant, but when there are undercurrents of unmitigated bullshit, it gets a person worked up. Making these things right now is what is keeping me half-assed grounded when I'm surrounded by bullshit.

The 1911 would be awesome Gypski... I would buy one of those in a second. What would be the possibility of getting a one hitter made? I'm not much of bowl or chillum smoker, but a bat would fit nicely in my dugout.
