    First time making crock pot oil!!!

    Okay so I got a qp of leaves/ganja and a 48 oz bottle of oil in the crock pot now,after 2 hours.

    Am I going about this okay, somebody coach me! It's dark green,how much longer do I need to "cook" this. I have warm,low,high settings. I have it on low.

    Every once and a while(usually every 10 minutes to 15 minutes) when I check/stir it starts to make little bubbles,is this okay? I heard not to "boil" this concoction as it destroys it.

    Any more helpful hints???? Anything to watch for?

    First time making crock pot oil!!!

    Oh well I turned it off after 3 hours I know some say to go on 6-12 hours,but it was bubbling and gurgling and the ganja is now brown and the oil is green. Maybe my crockpot "low" setting is pretty hot then.

    Hopefully I didn't turn off the heat too early? Am I supposed to leave it bubble and gurgle?

    I usually leave my crockpot on low or warm overnight....you want to slow cook the leaves for at least 12-15 hours. Then strain all the leaves and waste out. 3 hours isn't long enough in my opinion. good luck! :jointsmile:

    First time making crock pot oil!!!

    When i make my butter I had been cooking 8-10 hours and getting a very satisfying product. I just made a 7 lb batch and cooked in 22 hours. It is noticeably stronger than the butter that was cooked 8-10 hours.
