Arizona update, still counting votes
Would love to get information about participating in a dispensary here in Tucson Arizona and providing assistance and/or growing for the many, soon to be, card holders here in Tucson and surrounding communities. Any assistance that can be given in opening, working, or growing for the wellness of all would be truly aprreciated.
Congrats on Arizona stepping into the 21st century and taking charge of allowing a true medicinal product to be offered in the state.
Thanks to all and look forward to replies!

@boaz: Because of the last time AZ voters approved MMJ and the legislature overturned it, the voters approved the AZ Voter Protection Act, which prevents the legislature from overturning any other voter approved initiatives. This has caused the state many problems since then; rest assured, they can not do anything now, except that the DHS and local zoning boards can tighten regulations enough to choke us. They will not make it easy for AZ patients to get cards.

I don't think the prohibs in Arizona are going to get far fighting the issuance of the cards. I think they'll fight it more along the lines of prohibitions through zoning ordinances and such much like what we're seeing in Kali.

Mesa, AZ did that already, giving dispensaries very little room to set up shop, but the AZ DHS is planning on tightening the restrictions for doctors and patients, well within the allowances of the proposition.
