Being hair tested - have only done 1 hit in my life

I recently got hired by a local employer and have to do a drug test. I know they do a hair test, which worries me.

On October 20, I took my first (and only) hit in my life of pot from a vaporizer. One hit, I didn't even feel anything at the time, but felt really, really stupid for doing so, so I didn't continue.

This test is in a week or two and am now extremely worried. I'm guessing I won't pass, will I? I've already cut my hair to 1/2 an inch (its usually pretty short anyways).

I'm extremely athletic and run more than 50 miles per week

Er, um, if you felt "really, really stupid" for taking one hit ever in your whole entire life, why would you want the opinion of people who smoke all the time?? Kind of feels like you just called everyone who uses mj stupid....

Gotta agree with Sprite on this one....I mean you're basically here bashing "pot heads" and your own stupidity for surcumming to peer pressure (as you put it), yet you are looking for help??? Odd.

Nevertheless, if it was recent and your hair is 1 and a half inches it will show. Your hair can not grow that quick and they take it from the root. Sorry man, good luck though.

Ilphoto1, you have not smoked enough to put you over test cutoff levels. You should be fine to pass your hair test.
