winter temps????
lets just say i had started a grow from some thai bagseed and had some blackout shheeting (tent shaped) in my loft with a 600wt hps light on them 18/6 and in the next 10 days im due to go 12/12 but my biggest concern is the general temp of my loft with it getting ever colder by the day in the uk , as of now its not been to bad but how will it affect my babies once i switch??? its always warm inside the tent at the minute but 12 hrs is a long time so if anyone else has had the same issues before or has any usefull info please help . many thanks noobeeee

So how cold does it get up there? You might have to put it in Farenheit for me as you Brits have weird measurements, or maybe it is us that does things backwards :wtf: my space is in the garage (colorado!) and at times I have to use a small space heater..even so temps have gotten as low as 50F at night with no visible problems. That is the very lowest I want to go though; plants in their natural environment - outside - are always going to subject to varying temps day vs. night, the idea is to minimize the high variations indoors. good luck

here where i live its about 10 C at day and -10C at night.. All u rly need is a small space heater and a seperate timer to make it switch on when lights are off and off when lights go on,..
if its too cold u must apply...? HEAT, thats it.. small space warmer = heat

Just make sure the roots stay above 50F and below 90F

thanks for the info guys much appreciated and just so you no i decided to clear the closet instead as the growth was just not happining in the loft and although a heater would be handy it was just not possible at this time , coming on nice now though if anything its gettin to hot lol gotta keep the door open :thumbsup: thanks again
