lowe's sells 7pak of 14/42w cfls for 10 bucks...now that is a small lamps, but equal to almost 300 watts...

Great pictures guys!
Glad to see others have good results with these CFL's.
I'd like to point out that this lighting is ideal for "Noob" grows.. If you have the knowledge, money and space to get HPS or MH , then by all means.. do. your results will be tenfold.
But.. for those who can't do the 1000watt MH in every room of your house... CFL's are handy.
I'm going on about 3 weeks to harvest
...here are a couple pics.

I wanted to say that I have used them a few times for veg and they grow extremely nice under 4 of these 45w cfl's
I have so many experiments going that I use them as mobile utility/fill lights.
Here is an idea I had awhile back and I was thinking of blackjack when I saw this...utility light string...it is one of those multi receptacle light-strings for parties and construction sites...they are not that expensive, and you could string them all over a room.
I will find out which distributor has them, but I think it might be Zandor's favorite...Harbor freight...Great supplier for the small closet grower.
And finally, I agree with BB! These lights are great for newb grower's because they will not burn up your plants or your pocket book.
