This a bump/delayed response to the last reply :stoned:

Incandescent (a good majority anyway) are to low on the kelvin range to even be seen by most plants...making the light not terribely useful as a source itself. I personally believe through trial and error that incandescent can be used as supplimental light for the source that you are already using (ie.CFL's). Most of my information is through direct reading from Ed Rosenthal and Mel Frank's "Guide to growing Marijuana" and trial and error. I've completed a number of reasonably successful grows... and currently working on my next with already great results.

As you can see.. my sensi star white widow is turning into a big girl.
