My growing pics...one week sofare

ok well here it is. its been one 5 days since my seeds split and I put them in soil, its April 25th. its my 3rd or 4th year growing and this is the fastest I've seen them grow. its all about the soil I used. I used to be careless and use crap soil but I picked me up some Miracle-Grow Potting Mix. this stuff is awesome. they grow almost like a quarter inch every night. I recommend this soil to any beginner grower. when its warm enough and the plats are strong ill put them outside...but for now they are on my windowsill. lol im growing an avocado and i thought id throw it in the pics too....hey look cool when growing. I also included the way I germinated. tubaware with holes in the top put onto of a heating pad with moist paper towels inside. i changes the paper towels every1 2 days. some germinated under 24 hours. awesome way to germinate. btw, i keep it under my bed sop its always dark. light causes mold.

your not just going to use the light that comes through that window, believe me people think it would work but chances are it will not. i can tell from the pic that they are to tall for there age and may FALL OVER if left like that. and you have like 20 plants in that small area they will all start fight to be the tallest and get even more messed up. you got an ok start and all you need is bigger containers and a small floro above them to increase the light they are all ready getting. i hope you try to do this then post in a few months.

no dood, like i said in my post. in a few weeks im bringing them outside. and what are the downsides of them being too tall for their ages? maybe they just look like that cause i put the split seed pretty much on the surface of the soil so maybe wen i plant them in soil outside ill bury them up to the lowest leafs....sorry its hard to explain. anyway...i thought my plants were doin great. they look real healthy and are growin real fast.

Yea, man they're doin ok.. but i suggest getting some pipe cleaners or twist ties to use as a brace for them, if they stretch to much they'll fall over and it's game over.

when you replant them, just make sure you bury it up to the bottom leaves so it grows feeder roots.

you'll do fine, they're looking amazing! i'm suprised you had so many sprout? where'd you get the seeds?

are those coils of light your total light source, heatsource, or both? i plan on grwoing outdoor as i usually do but maybe ill try a plant or 2 indoors. your setup looks small, which i like.

there's three bulbs there with one 60w incandescent for red spec,

it's one plant.. and i had a mini radiator for a warmth levelness.. with a standard 10" fan.

and what are the downsides of them being too tall for their ages?

if they are too tall the stem will be too much thin so its the same crap as if u would grow under some normal light or like halogen the plant would juz grow too tall and eventually the stem couldnt handle the weight of the budz.

but if u plan on planting em outside i guess youll be happy for a long time with your harvest. seems pretty nice fer the moment.

and where did u buy your seeds? what strain? good luck man
