No sir, i don't live in albuquerque. I live on the east side of the state, roosevelt county, closer to the Texas Border.

its mostly the hispanics that live on this side that call it that nowadays. Its kinda a pride thing. I don't have an issue with it being called Taco Town. I chose to buy a home on this side of town, its quiet, my nieghbors are older and mind thier business, and theres enough space to raise my chickens (oh man, the chickens make it sound ghetto)


Taco Town isn't what it ussed to be, the long time residence have taken initiative to rebuild this community and fought to have the school on this side of town torn down and rebuilt. It has come a long way from the segregation days. and its getting better every year.

I was more worried about asking a doctor that lived in the area. You see, you can throw a brick in any direction and hit a church....lol. I guess my doctor isn't from these parts....
