ATTN MMC's: FDA pulling all infused products containing meat

Just heard from one of our IPM's that the FDA is asking them to pull their medicated green chile. It's apparently illegal to sell any product that contains more than 2% meat without FDA approval.

I'd recommend pulling them from your shelves immediately.

It does sound awful when you phrase it like that.

Doesn't the presence of Cannabis already make it illegal according to the FDA?

I'm guessing it's because meat is more strictly regulated with the potential health issues associated.

At first I thought "Medicated MEAT? That sounds awful!", but then I thought "Medicated CHILE, that sounds AWESOME!".

I bet a little canna-butter would stir nicely into a bowl of homemade chile.

I've got a medicated chili oil, worcester sauce, you name it. Savory is underrated.

ok first, i usually pay to have my meat medicated, it usually takes a couple of minutes:wtf: ah jeez i joke, seriously though if you cook with butter or oil you can mededicate your meat. if done right it will taste like first class. i cook french inspired soups, italian across the board and mexican is my specialty. i love the kitchen but i love a grow room more and that takes seconds to my lovely wife. sounds gay i know, she was reading this as i typed it. as the kids say on text...POS (parent over shoulder). kidding again

meded, worschester...you mean like the sauce...hmmmmm its spicy

I've been a chef for like 17 years and a butcher for about a year. When I got into retail meat cutting I realized how regulated animal flesh is. On the raw end we have to be "C.O.O.L. compliant" (country of origin labeling). Meaning that pretty much every peice of raw meat (some fruits and nuts too) must always be accompanied by a sign stating where it came from and if it is farm raised or wild, fresh or frozen. A violation can be up to $1000 per item(more for fish and more still for shellfish). They are up our ass about this shit non stop! We document shit from where the animal was killed to when you check out with your club card. Word. I wondered when they were gon start crack'n down the edible situation.
