SEEDS? and NAMES??
High All, hope your all having a wonderful sunday morning! I here all the "hype" about seeds for sale, even bought some myself, yet I still wonder if it's not all a bunch of malarkey! (B.S.) do you think that you actually get the seeds you order? or is it some lowlife with a mason jar full of seeds getting rich?? what do these company's have to loose if there dishonest? prosecution?? I ordered blackberry seeds from what I gathered was a reputable seed company and am hoping for buds that look very close to what the add looked like, do you think it'll happen? My fingers are crossed!!
The same thing with names, I'm a big fan of the durban poison and I've seen ""Durban poison" at different dispensaries and in many cases it doesn't look, smell or taste the same from dispensary to dispensary!:wtf: so my question is, are we being PUNKED???yetibear Reviewed by yetibear on . Bought my seeds from Amsterdam and UK and received exactly what I ordered. Both had quaility webpages and showed genuine professionalism.

TGA, TH Seeds, Centennial. These are trustworthy companies. They have local offices too so you can hold someone responsible for malarky.
Be careful in dispensaries buying seeds. I bought some "Pink Lady" in a dispensary from TGA seeds. This is a hard strain to get. I was impressed the shop had it in their seed collection. When I got it home and went to pop the beans I was super pissed to find the staple on the cardboard had been removed and restapled. When I got the seed bag out I noticed shake mixed in with the seeds and one seed was cracked and broken. Someone probably took out the solid genetics and replaced it with some bullshit hermy seeds and tried to market as a TGA product.
:wtf:

Seeds are all ab what company you buy from.. seedbay, seed botuiqe, doc chronic are all established solid companys who ship in orig seed pack.. Don't buys seeds if they are not in breeder packs! period.. I'm sure someone will not like this but.. Stay away from th seeds and subcool.. There "local" packs are trash.. How can th seeds move from Amsterdam to ft Collins and begin selling seeds right away? they couldn't have brought their parent stock over here.. Instead they showed up with a bunch of seeds and started them and began breeding the seeds in ft Collins.. these are not stable crosses and I won't sell th seeds gear until they have been here for years yo start over their entire operation! Not just show up with some seeds and cross them together and ask $90 bucks a pack.. subcool seeds are also trash imho, subcool moves tons of seeds here, I suspect if you ordered packs from breeder bay you will get better seeds from him.. For now he pumps most of his crap strechy time wasting genes here thru the cheesecake lady from Oregon.. He is not local and those selling his watered down wares are breaking the law.. I know very little ab centenial seeds but I gather they are doing things right by starting hereblocal from the ground up.. It takes time to build a truely deverse strain libary! hope they do well

In your experience with TH and Subcool have you seen different phenotypes in the pack? I am growing the Burmese Kush and have two different phenotypes from the same seed pack. I had a 100% germination rate with seeds from these two companies but was a little irritated to see different phenos because it means the strain is not stabilized.

Exactly! 4 packs of mk grown out and not 2 plants look anywhere near eachother.. several phenos, exact same thing from tga seeds.. Super strechy low yielding, varying phenos.. with that said I'm sure there is keepers to be found but who wants to grow 4-5 packs to find the one plant that your looking for? Completely unstable.. Completly! Rez has more stability in his gear and he prob uses half the breeding stock?

most companies are reputable. b4 you buy anything do your homework. visit websites check out strains from different breeders, check out reviews on message boards like this one. after a while youll start to get a feel for things. most strains on our dispensary scene, dont know much about them because breeders popped out of nowhere and started their wannabe hack lines. as far as getting what you see in the ad, you better be a very good grower and very patient. a lot of what you see is a finely tuned grow with temperature and organic experimentation to increase color intensity, then is backdropped to enhance the actual appearence...dutch passion is awesome at that, look at their pics vs. some other companies. dp is a good mid grade company, strawberry cough, power plant (a good one), skywalker and on and on. the problem you pointed out is oh so clear, nobody knows shit about what theyre selling. durban is possesed by several different breeders. each durban is crossed with a house strain or not at all. then a bunch of idiots buy said seeds and cross them with their own crap and call themselves growers and sell their bitter wares to you the dissapointed consumer. i personally would choose seed over dispensary clones without regret. order somas afghani delight, or next generations romulan, nevilles haze from greenhouse seeds, hell even nirvanas bubbleicious is better than what ive seen. so in conclusion be patient and keep learning and you will feel more confident. luck to ya mate:thumbsup:

We carry Centennial because they're the only company we have seen results from so far. I'd highly recommend the Django, "21" and Roughneck. I'll be posting pics this week, can't wait to show you guys.

of course your going to have different phenos...its called hybydization. not every seed will be the same no matter how homogenized it is. if your at 60% your doing good. this is the importance of cloning in order to salvage attributes that are favorable. pick your best mum and clone it. good on ya mate!
