Hi all!

I read somewhere (I think it was an Ed Rosenthal book) that goes into pruning for extra large yields beginning a couple weeks before flowering and continuing every two weeks or so until done. This is done by staking the middle stalk and picking 5 or 6 of the biggest, largest diameter and healthiest branches and staking them at an equal distance around the perimeter of the pot, training them on the stakes, and eventually trimming everything else, all veg and branching, but the buds you have staked. The way I understand it, is this allows the plant to focus it's growing/budding on those 6 or 7 colas and nothing else, making them exceptionally huge, thereby increasing yield. I'm trying this technique, but can't remember which book I got it from and am looking for more details about this method...does anyone have a more detailed description of this method, because what I read was rather vague.

I would be very interested in hearing from any others out there that use this or a similar technique to increase harvest yields. Are there other ways to get more from less? Looking to stretch the limits of what I can get from my efforts, and I'm sure I ain't the first! Thanking everyone in advance! THANKS!
