Noobie here:

How do I make this black paint duller? It seems to be a tad reflective and I think it may be a problem. I already have two holes cut out on the box for intake and exhaust and I'm planning on attaching a PVC elbow with a carbon filter on the outside and another elbow on the end of the filter for light trapping. But the intake will be harder since maybe I'll just use a longish pipe and then make another turn with another PVC elbow.

I'm concerned that these maneuvers won't be enough since this paint is shining a bit.

The guy at the hardware store said it was matte and that it was the least reflective. Apparently it wasn't what I expected.
