Legal "Marijuana" for medical use?

I'm a MMJ transplant from Nor Cal to TX, which doesn't have a medical MJ program.
I've run out of what we brought with us, but haven't found a new source in our new town yet. I use for constant migraines/cluster headaches, so I'm terrified to try the fake stuff, in case it makes it worse, I don't want to end up in the hospital trying to explain that one! Does anyone have any experience with this fake stuff? Does it have any pain relief properties at all?

for myself,i wouldn't smoke that fake stuff

The fake stuff (spice, K2, ect...) has no pain relief effect like MJ. It has a simular high feeling, but all other side effects do not exist.

I would not use this stuff as it's long term effects are unknown and I hear you can overdose on it, unlike it's natural counter part.

Spice and k2 and the similar have also been reported to cause seizures and diarrhea
