Yes.

I don't mind at all.

I didn't want a DWC grow. I'm still green too and its easier and more forgiving than a hydro setup. I would have needed a ppm meter and a better pH meter plus hydro nutrients and all that brew ha-ha. I didn't want to deal with all of that considering this is only my second grow.

I didn't want to use rockwool or peat plugs either. I figured I'd have better success rates using a DWC so I gave it a shot. I tried to clone w/ soil at first and all but one clone made it, and it stayed stressed the whole time, ended up male too

No worries

I'm still learning too. But I can say that cloning with a DWC is way easier than using soil, IMO, cleaner too.

Ocotillos quote in my sig is a golden example here. Yes, it refers to answers but the speculum of this is the same for questions. There is no such thing as a stupid question! If the question furthers any ones knowledge then it was a very clever question indeed.

The only stupid question is the question never asked.

Point blank: Asking stupid questions helps one avoid stupid mistakes. :rastasmoke:
Slevinkal Reviewed by Slevinkal on . First Grow From Clone Since my clones have now been moved from a DWC/Dome into soil its time to start a new thread for em. I mostly no longer consider them my first grow even though my first grow has yet to be harvested. Since I've already potted these girls this is the quick run-down of the past two weeks or so. I started by selecting the stems I wanted to take as clones and clipped half of each fan leave off from the selected area. I waited 5 days for the leaves to heal a bit then clipped the clones, went Rating: 5
