BEST BAG SOIL OR MIXTURE FOR INDOOR?

I am interested in which soil is the best for indoor? I am currently using Roots and adding a little extra perlite. I have heard Sunshine mix is good, and I have also heard good success stories from people who mix their own. My girls will be in 10 gallon pots for flower, under a 1000w HPS. Just looking for some expert opinions!

    Thanks...

BEST BAG SOIL OR MIXTURE FOR INDOOR?

ive had good luck with sunshine#4(soilless) so far...it seems pretty solid for the most part, its peat moss & perlite i belive & only has starter nutrients and its buffered with dolimitric lime...so whatever level ph water you put in your soil should be at(as long as you dont need to transplant as ive found out b4,lol)..but if you dont want to deal w/ adding nutrients to your water then the only one i could recommend would be foxfarms oceanic something...people always seem to love that stuff and you cant argue w/ the results.

BEST BAG SOIL OR MIXTURE FOR INDOOR?

    Hi SLG,

I like Pro Earth #2, but have also used Sunshine mix #4.. I've never had any problems with soilless mix... Just an FYI - I've been using pro-can #5 pots under 1k hps lights and having great results. I may go a little bigger for a couple of sativa dominant strains I'm working on, but not too big to keep the height under control during a 13 week flower cycle.

You want to see a couple of cool grow videos.. check out the ones from Arjan at Greenhouse seeds.. They're growing sativa based strains in 85L pots (about 22 gal) and they get HUGE. Me, I only have 82" to the bottom edge of the reflectors.. sorry for going off topic.. :stoned:

    Peace,

    Farmer Rich

My local grow shop did a comparison test between FF soil and Roots. They said that the Roots plant had more root growth to it. Otherwise there wasn't a difference between the plants. Roots is good, I've used it and liked it just fine.
