Setting Up A New Grow Tent!!!
So since one of my girls came up stolen this year I have decided to start growing indoors from now on. I have been on hgt.com and came across some grow tents that are really interesting!! Am pretty sure I found what I want for xmas!! The 56?x56?x78? GROW TENT features:
Sturdy Steel Frame
Measures 78" tall x 56" deep x 56" wide
Heavy-Duty Light-Proof Black Ballistic Nylon "Skin"
Shiny Silver Ultra-Reflective "MYLAR" Lined Interior for superior light reflectivity and dispersal
FIVE 6" Vent Ports with Covers attached with Velcro
TWO 4" Vent Ports with Covers attached with Velcro
Three integrated Vent Flaps with VELCRO seals for proper ventilation and light proofing.
Water-Proof Double floor contains spills/water within tent
Easy to understand set-up instructions (we also have video instructions on the web, see below!)
I think am going to go with a 600 watt lamp with a air cooled hood and a 6" Inline Fan Rated at 250 cfm. Just wondering if this would be a good setup to get me started.jagerbombs101 Reviewed by jagerbombs101 on . Setting Up A New Grow Tent!!! That should get you started, no problem. But before your plants go into bloom, you will have to decide how/if you are going to do with the exhaust air, because it might get a bit stinky if there are neighbors around.

Setting Up A New Grow Tent!!!
My first shot at indoors and I went with the same tent but smaller. I think it is great. I have a 2'x4'x6'. However I went with LED light to avoid the heat (thus no fan expensive fan system) and the electric cost is way less.

High jagerbombs, your going to love "tenting" it!! the 600 set-up is what I went with also, the secret jardin 4'x4' is the one I chose, but there all probaly the same nowadays! which brand did you choose? as said above you'll want to do something with the air from your hood (exhaust) here are some pics of mine, it'll give you 1 idea on how to do it! good luck and here's to no more getting your outside girl's ripped-off!!!

I actually would go larger on the tent. 8'X4' with two doors, then divide the tent into two rooms. Flowering and "work room". Work room is were you would hang some 4' T5 florescence. This is were your mothers, clones, and those waiting to get into the flowering stage. I use a simple drip system in this room, and an Ebb and Flow in the flowering room. I use a 430 watt HPS with blue spectrum in a Sun Systems XXXL Hood with 6" vent and electric ballast.
Whats nice about getting the 8x4 tent right away is that it leave you room to expand. Just get a extra 4x4 and make the extra tent your work room. This doubles the size of your flowering room when you get a second hood and ballast.
This works fine. I rather have 3 430 lamps instead of 2 600. More area same power consumption, Thats all. Not much heat means closer to the plant, which means less light loss.
I also notice on one of the photos that an air intake is high. Usually air intake is low and air exit is high. Hot air rises and you don't want to pull in warm air just to get it further warmed by bulbs. also Think CO2.
They beauty of all this is Portability. I can take down move across town and set up in hours.

Look on Ebay for affordable tents. I found one under two hundred that uses 600D Oxford Cloth. Super safe and natural, all metal construction.
