I don't think anyone should be discouraged by this. Like most people have said it's already "legal" in a way. Cali people have it easier than anyone really, I mean basically all you have to do is go into the doctor and tell them you have some sort of long term pain and you can get a card like that, right? Don't get me wrong, I can't wait until the day that it is legal, but full legalization may take a long time. We have made progress for sure, and that is something to be proud of. Personally, a few years ago I wouldn't have imagined that it would be so close to be legalized(in Cali at least).

For people who say it's over and prop 19 doesn't stand a chance obviously doesn't know math. Yeah, right now the vote is 53.5% for No and 46.5% for Yes. Does anyone seriously not see how close that is? Especially since not all the votes are in and there may be another ballet for the stolen votes. It is currently estimated that 9,933,593 people voted for prop 19, which is only about 27% of the entire state's population. I realize that not EVERYONE will vote for it, but come on man it's Cali... if 73% of the state hasn't voted yet or hasn't been counted, that leaves PLENTY of breathing room. Just because the No vote is at 53.5% does not mean that half the state voted No, it means 53.5% of the votes were for No. There's still over 27 million possible votes that could drastically change those percentages. So kick back, spark a joint, relax and keep the hope... it's not over yet. :rastasmoke:
