I think Sonoma went green. but if you look at the numbers those little rural counties up north don't really hold that much sway.

It was the big urban counties in so cal that beat Prop 19, from what I looked at. I would suggest in 2012 make in much much simplier, only legalize the garden space, that might have a better chance with the voters.

but its tuff to convince those soccer moms to vote for weed. Yes, we all know they would really be voting for intelligent regulation and ending crime but try to convince them of that against the DARE noise machine. :wtf:

If you look at Humboldt and Mendocino you will see their percentages nearly match the state wide total. And in Mendocino, there was hardly any turn out.

LA County wants to support the black market since it has a major gangbanging activity in controlling the Mexican drug traffic. imp:

Still, someone has said there are still ballots to count, but don't hold your breath. :stoned:

I've tracking the results here, and each day as the mail-in votes are counted the No votes pull further ahead.

    It isn't going to pass...

I can't believe the way California voted on EVERYTHING. I guess the public doesn't remember the last reign of Governor Moonbeam. He raised property taxes SO fast and SO far that a couple of guys named Jarvis and Gann had to write a law (Prop 13) to protect people from loosing their homes to the tax thugs. Then - after it passed, he tried to get it thrown out as being unconstitutional.

He screwed up Oakland schools so bad the Feds had to take it over - classes in Ebonics ... oh ma gawd.

And, they elect Any Twosome Newsome as Lt Gov. Well, it won't be long and you'll be able to marry your German Shepherd Chow mix ...

Round out the team with famous Socialists such as Pelosi, Feinstein, and Boxer and the perfect storm has formed. We deserve anything we get.
    .
Just because I\'m paranoid, doesn\'t mean they\'re not out to get me.

I ran numbers, with the total number of uncounted ballots, the yes votes would need to be about 63% in order to override all the potential no votes.

And a majority of these ballots were mail-in. I know at least twenty smokers that did their stuff by mail-in, whereas I was one of the few in my group to go directly to the voting booth.

Just wait, as SF, LA, and SD all have yet to count those, and I'd be willing to wager a big majority of cannabis users went the mail-in route.

Also, let us not forget any CA-based soldiers that are overseas. Those votes have to get here as well and be counted.
