CO MMC owners meeting

I would be very interested in getting together with other MMC owner/managers once a month to discuss how we can be heard with lawmakers and state and local governments. We need to stick together and make our voices heard. I would suggest a monthly meeting, perhaps rotating cities. Thoughts?

there is always a new legislative session - and it can either bring worse news or relief for the community.

the thing to remember is, when sticking up for MMJ rights, stick up for everyone's rights and be a hero for the community.

I think it's important to note that there are MMC's that are advocates for patients and caregivers, like releaf. Then, there are places like buddinghealth and josh stanley who don't support patients and caregivers.

Patients should spend their medical dollars at places they support. It's unfair to lump all mmc's with asshats' like stanley. imo of course.

January's session will be key. They're taking a bat to 1284 and that will have wide ranging consequences. If we can mobilize enough support we can also be in their ear about caregiver restrictions and other issues.

From what I've heard from Matt Cook, state legislators understand 1284 was a deeply flawed bill. There will be some positive changes (the 35 day rule will probably be modified to allow patients access) but a lot of negatives, as well.

this is so true they are always nickel and diming the community with legislation. wont be long before they try some new shitsu to try and curtail the growth of this industry.
