I live here in Memphis, TN now, but grew up in the backwoods of good ole Mississippi (just about as far northwest as you can go there). I've been trying to get the word out here but damn these people are set in their ways. Now, that being said, before anyone tries to read too far into that, "these people" is referring to old school religious nuts. I'm not saying anything is wrong with religion, to each their own, but trust me, I've been up north(Michigan) and out towards south Texas and trust me, the southern people are different. It's like they just refuse to realize, IT'S 2011. Mississippi decriminalized marijuana a little. I believe if you get caught with less than an ounce you get a ticket and slap on the hand. BUT, if I were to take a joint a few miles north to Memphis and get caught, 1-3 years. WHAT!??? I've been sending emails, letters, contacting people. Hell, we don't even have a NORML chapter around here. I believe the closest one is in Nashville and one other county in TN. But not Memphis? It's done nothing but let to a terrible black market here. I've you do find someone you can trust, it's because you've sifted through the 100 other MFers who robbed you, LITERALLY. Yes, my old "friend" after a year of good service decided to get greedy and robbed me for a couple hundred bucks. Really smart people huh? I guess it makes too much since to just be cool. It's still illegal in Mississippi but yet they're the only state that grows it for "research". Goverment can grow it but I can't. SUUURREEEE. Plus, people around here call anything good, KUSH. WTF! These morons haven't even seen a real kush strain. I've heard of some people using imbalming fluid on their product, but I don't really know why. They don't care what goes into there stuff, just as long as it sells, and let me tell you, 99% of the herb around here is garbage. Thank god for those few beautiful souls who do know what they're doing. So go ahead south and keep electing the same people over and over again. It'll be the same problems over and over again. So if anyone out there can help me in my cause, I'm sorry, OUR cause, let me know.
