Hi! I'm really new to this board too, but happy to find it. I live around the Cities, so I sympathize. For years it was touch and go; I could almost always find it (except for during the notorious Midwest "dry" spells), but the quality could range from ditch weed to a really glorious, glorious Northern Lights.

The prices have really skyrocketed, too. Around eight years ago I could get some high grade for $20-$30 an 1/8th... comparable stuff is retailing for $55-60 now.

There are a lot of people growing indoors around here. I finally found a provider who knows what s/he's doing, and is consistent as the moon. When I do have to buy off the street, it kills me a little inside. :stoned:

The one thing I like about this area is that while, yes, it is still illegal, nobody really cares. If you're obvious about it in front of a cop, yeah they'll arrest you, but otherwise? Pfff! Glad to hear you found your niche up here, MaxCannabis!

Nice to see some people from the cities here. I wish we could go back to the days when it was $25-$30 an 1/8th. It would be so nice if I could grow for personal use right now.

I do like the fact that it is decriminalized in minnesota. 42.5 or less is a simple ticket from what it says on norml--> Minnesota Marijuana Penalties - NORML

Greetings! This has been my 2nd winter in Minnesota and I hope not to be here for a 3rd! But...my wife is having a better time here than I am so I'll be here for at least half the year. I'm from the south and have lots of friends there...here...not so much. I can't seem to find the "Minnesota Nice" in the circles I'm running in. Could be a myth to begin with. Either way, I'm a honest dude that just like to smoke and would love to find more honest folks who are not trying to get rewards for busting potheads. They need to wage war on the potholes here, not potheads...am I right guys? Did you see that ridiculous bill that was introduced a few weeks ago? Some State Reps are proposing that we legalize weed in MN for export...export?!? Like there's a shortage and MN's climate is just so prime for it. The law also says that the laws for possession would be strictly enforced...meaning "here's a bunch of candy kids...but you can't have any or you go to jail"...sounds like a scam to me. Of course...from what I've encountered so far, you could make sunshine illegal and most of the folks here would turn you in for looking out the window. If you're looking for a smoking buddy, I'm right here...you can even come to my place or we could meet somewhere neutral until we're comfortable with each other. Peace!

I just got a new iolite and was wondering if i could get it to work like a volcano. I got tubing for it instead of using the crappy mouthpiece. then i was thinking about putting a bag over the tubing and sealing it with a tight rubber band. let the bag fill then hit it? wil this work.

I'm not sure about what you are trying to do but it's always been my experience that the oils will stick to everything with a vaporizor and so my first thought is that the bag would absorb some of the oils and the more you add to the system the more oils will stick to surface area...just a thought.
