Hydro growing and flowering stage question
I've done both. But there several things to take note on such as - everytime you trim it shocks the plant slightly and stops growth and takes about 24-72 hours to recover. That stunts plant growth slightly. But you will be able to grow a few more plants in the same area. Letting the plant grow without trimming grows a fuller plant and budz. If you are going to clone then take them a week before the start of flowering. You can take clones 2-3 weeks after flowering but you will want to extend your flowering period about 1 1/2 weeks. The best thing to do is what you want to do or try. That way you see what works best in your garden. Also, I find it very helpful to keep notes every day every crop on feeding and things done and tried. When 1st starting out its good you ask questions , it gives you a basis to work from but it's bottom line is trial and error and your decisions.

My plants are about 10 weeks old and I am using a flood tray hydroponics system with an LCD light. The plants look fantastic and very very full. My question is now that they are in the flowering stage and starting to show their buds, should I trim the fan leaves to let the light in the middle so the buds get light? Rating: 5
