THANKS

I thought I would help out my DWC that we had a few first runs in and plumb them to a control bucket and rez. Well the claw started to come out late in flower but they finish OK. They are dark green too.

Well after thinking about it, I used to top everything daily with ph water by hand. Now with the rez I filled with nutes not thinking about it concentrating when the plants drink up a lot water. By the time for next rez change the PPM's were well over 1200 and getting stronger. Even with latewoods modified it seems the Nitrogen still builds up too much.

Thanks very much for this info. It solves one of my problems.

My other problem was how close the water was to my netpot lids. I did the control rez to be just under the netpots by almost an inch. When you start in dwc you want the water to be close to the netpot and splash it to help get the roots going down. BUT then it needs to drop to about 3 inches below netpot to give a good airgap. Too close will bring on a bad case of root rot from staying too wet. In just a few days of lowering the water level we ahve nice white roots coming out the sides of the netpot once more. So water levels can cause problems as well.

Thanks again.
