The Claw!!!I found this from Googling "leaves look like a claw". It is from a different forum but seems informative.

Look...I can only put it this way to you. I have had the same symptom in the past. I learned from some very talented people here, that I had been over using the "N" a bit.

Since that time, I've encountered the same symptom. Keeping the advice I had received in mind, I moved the plant out from the grow room and under regular lighting.

There, I could clearly see some vegetation that was deep dark green. Much darker than it appeared under the grow lights. This is also a symptom of too much nitrogen. I handled the plants accordingly, and things cleared up. Your plant "can" get too much "N" "without" burning.

There are times that a flush can be necessary. I don't know nearly enough about your situation to recommend a flush. I normally reserve "flushing" for emergency purposes. But if it's a choice between irreparable damage to the plant, or flushing the pots...I'd flush the pots.

Having too much "N" during flower is a bit worse than through veg. The plants use much more "N" during veg., making it easier for it to just consume the excess.

Prolonged excess of "N" during flower "will" cause flower problems that will effect everything from bud size and density, to flavor of the finished smoke.

Not to confuse the issue any further, but there can always be more than one thing going on. Making a plant show multiple symptoms. In the case of those leaf fingers that look just like Eagle Talons....Nitrogen.

Try getting a good look at the plant under different lighting. There "can" be yellowing leaves on a plant that has too much Nitrogen, so don't let that throw you.

If you can clearly say that they look like a normal green house plant in color depth, then that would be a definite sign pointing "away" from "N". If the plant has some deep/dark green vegetation...look no further.

Hopefully this will help either confirm or begin to eliminate nitrogen.
