Transplant before or after taking cuttings?

I have a "virgin" mother plant(purple star) in a 1 gallon pot, and she is due to be transplanted into a 5 gallon pot. I am ready to start taking cuttings from her but im not sure what steps I should take. Last thing I did to her was flush her good with 6.5 pH'd water getting her ready for a bigger home...she is currently drying up from the flush. Would it be best if I transplanted her into the 5 gallon pot first, then cut her back on nitrogen in the next feed, THEN take cuttings? Or should I take cuttings now, transplant and continue her regular feeding schedule? If i remember correctly...you should feed with a "bloom" nute before taking cuttings correct? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Oh yeah, I am using Advanced Nutrients grow/micro/bloom.

    Thanks...

Being I am almost anti-nute, I concern about the additional stresses.

Myself I would take my cuttings now while waiting for the root ball to dry out enough to plant. Remember, lowest branches have the best ability to root, and gets the least amount of light in flower and needs trimmed anyhow, so this is a great time.
