I NEED HELP.. Autoflower? Not Autoflower? IDK

Hi everyone! I can really use some help here. I just got some clones from a friend, and some of them were either taken from a plant that had just started to flower or the clones themselves started to flower. They are Blackberry Kush and I have read that in SOME cases Blackberry kush is an Autoflower strain, but I was told that these are not. These clones were very nicely rooted in 1" rockwool cubes when I got them so I put them (rockwool and all) into individual 2.75 liter pots filled with hydroton and put them in my flood table under two 1000 watt super HPS (with the enhanced/added blue spectrum) for 18/6. The first few days I did 20/4 to make sure they knew it was back to veg we go.

My problem is... The clones that came slightly flowering, still look like they are in flower and I am now at day 5 under 18+ hours of light. Is it possible that maybe this is an Autoflower Blackberry Kush and these babies will NEVER go back to veg? OR am I just being to impatient? How long does it take for plants to revert back to veg?

Also, I have a handful of these clones and only a few are in this condition. the others have no signs of flowering..

I NEED HELP.. Autoflower? Not Autoflower? IDK

    Hello there HydroLife,

If the cuttings were taken from a plant in flower, it could/does definitly take longer then 5+ days to revert to veg. How long it takes to revert is strain dependent....I can't answer that. My guess is you are being impatient.

If the cuttings came from an autoflower, they would contine to flower once they overcame thier transplant shock, not get very big and yield would be comprimised.

Keep going and keep looking at them to see what's happening. You have nothing to loose just plants to gain.

    Thanks oldmac,

do you think that 18/6 is a good light schedule to revert them back to veg, or should I have the lights on longer?

Also, should I wait till after they revert to start my veg cycle, or can I go ahead and consider this veg time?

    thanks,
    HL

I NEED HELP.. Autoflower? Not Autoflower? IDK

I found out for sure that these clones are not autoflower, so I guess I'm being impatient. Does anyone have any tips for me about this process. I did find out hawever that the clones were taken from a mom that started to flower. They are very healthy right now. They have a few deformed leaves but I read that it's totally normal. They are in day 6 of 18+ hours of light. Growing kinda slow but there is definitely signs of new growth. They are getting a verrrrrrrrry diluted nutrient solution (veg nutes).

Any help/guidance would be very much appreciated.

I also have another thread about dehumidifier water.. check it out if you don't mind :-)

    Hey HydroLife,

When the plant starts to show new stem, node and leaf growth, that is the beginning of vegative growth. Looks from your last post that it has started.

The time to veg is not a critical issue, how long you do it is up to you (the benifit of indoors). You get to decide how big to make them, just remember the 2-3x rule, when you go to flower.

18/6 is fine for revegging, but so is 24/0. I have used both with success tho I haven't done it much recently, but when I have I've seen no real difference in how long it took.

Good luck with them and good growing. I'll look at your other thread when I get a chance.
