if you are are referring to incandescent lightbulbs, then not very well. 90% of the electricity they consume is turned into heat. get some CFLs, and even then, you'll need many more when it comes to flowering. and don't forget about nutrients as well.

you also might want to invest in some soil. using outside dirt is not a good idea. it could contain bugs and fungus etc. your inside environment should be as controlled as possible. not to mention the makeup of the soil might not be proper for cannabis. cannabis likes light, airy soil. you might considered ammending with perlite, at the rate of 1/3 perlite to 2/3 parts soil.

i got 2 60 watt soft white cfls a small fan getting it fresh air and my soil is mixxed with coffee grounds. i heard my setup will work and im on budget plz help will this work?

Lol if you don't have big expectations it will grow. However 2 60w cfl's not gonna cut it if you want to grow more than one joint worth of bud. A little MG potting soil and a couple rubbermaid tubs and six cfl's might be in your budget and as the forum shows they grow some good buds. I'm not sure how much research you've done but the setup you are trying to grow with will lead to many headaches. Good luck and keep us posted.

its been 5 days and is got 6 of its leafs and is about 3 inchs tall with a good size stem
