Stop the insanity!

I was sitting at my desk carving on a reasonably large cannabis stem, and started to think this fiber is amazing. I rolled the shavings around in my hand and formed a strand. My main thought as i did this was wow we have this amazing fiber that can be used for practically any organic textile and produced on a massive scale anywhere; however, it's illegal and if you cultivate it, have it, or purchase it you will go to jail. What sort of insanity is this it's maddening to think we as a supposedly intelligent, and industrious people residing here in the United States put up with keeping the continued prohibition of such an enormous and lucrative resource. The sheer benefit of this one plant to our economic, and industrial base far outweigh any supposed negative societal effects of the medicinal parts of the cannabis plant.When it comes down to it we the people of this great nation must see through the ancient and aging propaganda of a by gone era. Make our stand against insanity and cure this reefer madness with truth and right this seventy plus year wrong that has been wrought against the innocent.

i made an arrow with one of my stalks before,and it actually worked while spear fishing for sunfish,it was fun but dont do it when there are snapping turtles around :jointsmile:
