Carter? You got to be kiding. Was he involved in the Fraud when Bush's broter Florida's government position disafranchised black voters to get his brother elected to president? Did he start a war like Regan or Bush did? Was he involved in watergate or so called caught spying? Geez, guys...chill out. For at least the past thirty years the opposition party has made big gains after each new President's first two years on office. This year is no different.

It doesn't mean the end of the world or that the American people have repudiated one party or the other. It's just the people exercising the "balance of power" philosophy of the Founders in a direct and visible means.

Its a crucial time in history are we voting for nothing and to keep the people in the top in power or are we voting for our future? Realising that republicans have presented us with bad policies like the war on drugs and oil dependance policies why commit the same mistake twice? They have tried to change the constitution more than democrats like by trying to change the 14th amendment and implementing the patriot act. Moreover, they are trying to divide the public by giving America a bad name by not alowing the construction of a temple or by enforcing immigration laws, passing laws that will alow a business to be able to restrict service to people from other races. and keeping the war going. Also, they have proposed privatisising social security and public schools. Considering this, private schools in texas have erased Thomas Jeferson from the history books because it conflicts with the christian idiology, the department of education in Texas, which consist of a dominated republican conservative groups have not only allowed this to happen in many schools, but have helped them by administrating policies that favors their cause. If they win, I hope the people eventually realise the big mistake
they did for the direction of the country because the republicans are going to do noting more but slow down our progress into a developing world by keeping their support for the high class other than middle or low class citizents. For example, they want to privatise the educational system too if you havent heard and lower funding for financial aid.
