Advice Needed - First Try at growing pot

So what do you mean by I cured the my harvest too fast. I read allover it said 5-7 days hang it to dry and then 2-5 weeks cure the weed in a jar and open it for 5 minutes everyday.

Im still not sure what im supposed to do now with this bushweed... can it be saved and given better taste ? it has lots of thc....

What about my other plant should I just dry it with 2 fans instead of one and leave the door open ? is the fact of a darkroom important ? can the room be lit ? can the windows be open ?

If the weed has the THC content.. Then that was the objective to create a product that got you high,right. As for the taste.. Roll a blunt,with a flavored wrap.

Was it hotttt in the room you were drying or curing in?

Advice Needed - First Try at growing pot Hi everybody We bought holland seeds ( Amnesia ) and germinated them in a closet with wet tissues , we then transplanted them in a cup with soil in it(3 octobre). when the plants was ( to our knodlege ) big enough we transplanted it to a 7.5 littres pot.The plant is a month old we don't know if we should start putting our fertilizer. and if the plant is healthy because as you can see on the pictures one of them looks tired. we thought we are not getting enough sunlight so we added aluminum Rating: 5

Are you guys still here, im sorry but got lost i guess. Those are not buds, they look more like flowers, which is what a bud turns into. You should have let them grow at least a month or two more. You cant see trech's with the naked eye very well. If anything, they look more like crystals without a 30x microscope, i got mine on line for 9.95. Im not going to write to much, just in case you dont come back, but let me know you are still coming here and il teach ya everything i know:thumbsup:

And if ya come back, i will show you how you can get 15-20 gram buds:thumbsup:just post in here and dont harvest that plant yet. But if you have just put it some place dry with air moving in the room, not on the buds. Because it will dry them to much and we dont want that. I will check back everyday:thumbsup:

Hi to all,

Heres updated pictures of our beloved plants !

As you can see they greww and we believe this is their flowering period ?
we can see the white hairs and remember reading something about them trichromes ? when do i know when my buds will be ready ? what else do i have to do except for what i am doing. when i get close to the hairs and smell its getting to that deliciously exciting smell !


We've been putting fertelizer for 5 days now and we can see a big difference with both if you could comment and give advice we would appreciate it soo much ...
and let us know if we are on the right path towards getting high !!!

the first pictures are from 'miss daisy' and in the second post they're from 'tired'

I don't know what kind of fert you are using but I have used and love Organic Gem (someone finally put an ad in High Times for it) I used to have to get it from a hops farmer. This stuff will make your plants go nuts. We took some or our small plants (in a 1 gal container) and put them in 5 gal pots and took 2ounces of Organic gem and fed them. In two weeks the roots had went all the way to the edge of the 5 gal pot and all the way down the side and out the weep hole at the bottom. Truly amazing.

A male flower is the opposite sex, which creates pollen to make seeds in a female bud. Like i posted above, you really need to read or this is a question that you should know by now if you have read. We will help ya grow, but if you are not able to understand the answer, then we cant teach you anything.

Your ''tired'' plant looked burned up by nutes and maybe watered in direct sun or something. If you have looked around in here id think you would had seen a pic of a bud, yet your question about the 4g plant, which could have been much bigger if left to grow i dont understand.

Go into some grow logs and read them, then ask questions. That way you will understand the answers. And plant more seeds, you learn a lot by growing and reading together. There are no short cuts, reading must be done.

Hey, we are coming back untill we get the whole process figured out So thank you so much for helping

Second, What do you mean by `they look more like flowers, what buds turn into` ? And which plant are you talking about ? One is still in the soil and beautiful and the other we dried and are currently in the curing process

The one that is in the curing process is the one that taste bad and smells a little better lately.

The one that is still in the soil looks a lot better than the other one ever did. Altough the weather here is getting worse and tonight was the first night we brought our plant inside.

We bought a product for late flowering.... we want these buds to be like the weed i buy. I am very curious to see if I can get good weed ?

the product is called RIPEN ... they say to feed it to the plant its last 10 days. We gave it today and we dont know if the weather will allow our plant to live another 10 days .... Maximum we will dry it, I would just like to know if it is ready ?


Also I asked in an earlier post how do I get my weed dried properly and cured and someone posted an article that was awesome but I am still not sure about one thing.

To get the plant DRY --> ventilation
To get the plant Fluffy --> cut back on ventilation

is that the basic concept of it ?

Can I see if my plant is ready to harvest without a microscope ? And are the hairs that are becoming browner the trichromes ? or trechs ?

What did you mean by that is a male plant ? Which one ? and we made sure to kill the males so im confused.

Hey, I didnt see this post earlier.... so I elaborated a little more.... I am reading a lot and this is my first try ever. I am sorry if you feel I do not understand much I know what a male plant is and made sure to kill them before the 5th week. so no pollen would be produced to inseminate the females.
Which of the 2 plants do you believe to be male ?

The `tired` one is in its curing process, we had to take its life because it was only getting worse. and I believe i did burn it up with nutes. 1 day i put nutes in without water and later i added water. then I read that it might kill my plant...

The other one`s name is Miss Daisy, It is horrible weather here so its on a balcony not on the roof and its covered. I`m havent fed it fertz for about a week now and started feeding it RIPEN today.

I am eager to learn, I read everywhere and I couldnt understand it all so when i found this website i got rlly excited to get the answer firsthanded from someone and personally to my situation. I really appreciate any effort you guys do to help my get high on my own grown pot
