Advice Needed - First Try at growing pot

Hi to all,

Heres updated pictures of our beloved plants !

As you can see they greww and we believe this is their flowering period ?
we can see the white hairs and remember reading something about them trichromes ? when do i know when my buds will be ready ? what else do i have to do except for what i am doing. when i get close to the hairs and smell its getting to that deliciously exciting smell !


We've been putting fertelizer for 5 days now and we can see a big difference with both if you could comment and give advice we would appreciate it soo much ...
and let us know if we are on the right path towards getting high !!!

Dont give it too much ferts man you will burn her up. Water in between giving her a bunch of ferts, it might save you later on. Im sure the plants needed Nitrogen and thats why you see the vigorous growth. But just dont over due it with the ferts as it can give you a bunch of problems and by starting with a low dosage 2 or 3 times a week. This is way better then a bunch at once, plus they like to have their soil dry out in between feeding/water sometime. They get lots of air when the soil drys out and isn't always wet.

I think they got a bit to much ferts. Just keep them in the sun and only give ferts after you have watered, but then give her two or three days to dry out then hit them with ferts. Then give em 3 or 4 days to dry and water. Stay like this until your buds begin to grow, then ya want to get a fert with a N-P-K of something without Nitrogen in it to feed your buds. The package should say 0-7-3 or something close to it. And man do not cut your leaves, he wants you to clone, you can read about it here. But your leaves are growing your plant for you by taking what it needs from the sun.

They look great man, just cut the ferts a bit and do not trim any leaves:thumbsup:

Hi all

We have updates from our plants , The Tired one as you see has been finally cut off a week ago , we cut off all the leaves and let it dry under a ceiling fan in a dark (office room). we obtained 4 grams from the plant
(see picture)
After 2 days we noticed that it was almost completely dry except of the stem. The buds are very crunchy and couldnâ??t hold it without breaking the bud. The smell also disappeared.
The next day the stem had a cracking sound while bending it so we removed the buds and putted them in a glass jar to cure , they don't exactly look like buds ( you can see it on the pictures)
Even though there is a lot of THC on it.
We tried smoking it , it had a bad taste and no smell but it gets us a high in a different way.
Did we do it right? because our other plant (picture) is almost time to harvest if i am not mistaken.
and this time we want to dry it correctly and have a great smoke.
So our questions are
1. How do we get our Bushweed that fluffiness bag instead of the crunchiness
2. how do we dry our second plant the right way
3.How do we have to cure them to have the best possible results!

It seems like you cured your harvest too fast, which explains why you had a small harvest and the loss of odor and lack of taste. I'm assuming you have a empty room you are curing the bud in or will cure it in. I suggest getting another fan to blow fresh air into the room from the doorway. Leave the door open with the fan going for a few days and keep an eye on the bud. After about two days i would close the door halfway to cut back on ventilation. Once you notice some stiffness in the stem and the leaves are starting to become crisp i would turn the fan off that is blowing the fresh air in but keep the ceiling fan going. After about a week or two the leaves should be a little bit more crisp and if it happens before then i would cut back on ventilation. And then you can either choose to keep curing it from anywhere from another week to 6 weeks. It's up to you man. I hope this helps and you get some big skanky buds!

So what do you mean by I cured the my harvest too fast. I read allover it said 5-7 days hang it to dry and then 2-5 weeks cure the weed in a jar and open it for 5 minutes everyday.

Im still not sure what im supposed to do now with this bushweed... can it be saved and given better taste ? it has lots of thc....

What about my other plant should I just dry it with 2 fans instead of one and leave the door open ? is the fact of a darkroom important ? can the room be lit ? can the windows be open ?
